Where Does Inspiration Come From?

What is inspiration?

Where does it come from?

How can we harness it?

Inspiration relates intrinsically to creativity, imagination, and self-empowerment.

Every one of us is connected to the mass, shared consciousness.

We rejoin this mass consciousness when we shift from our physical bodies and delve into our spiritual selves.

All the information is out there, and what has happened is fixed.

Truth and knowledge are bound in time and space.

So, where does inspiration reside and emerge from?

Inspiration comes from within and can be suppressed!

Inspiration comes from a place within each of us.

It is internal and moves outwards into our thoughts and actions.

This original instance of inspiration is commonly called a spark of the imagination.

While we are all born with this ability to think imaginatively and creatively, most lose inspiration throughout their education and transition to adulthood.

So, what type of people possess this spark, and can we all access potent moments of inspiration?

NASA study finds 98% of us are born with traits of imaginative genius.

In attempting to find the meaning of true genius and scout the innovative minds they needed, NASA conducted a study on 1,600 children. It became one of the most extended studies in history.

They uncovered that genius was closely related to creative, imaginative thinking and problem-solving.

Moreover, they discovered that 98% of the 3-5-year-olds could fit into the "genius" category, as per their definition.

They found that young children can think incredibly creatively and solve problems in ways most adults would struggle to solve similarly.

So where does this inspiration, creativity and cognitive energy go?

They found the answer to this question, too: the education system.

By age 10, the percentage of those same children still capable of genius decision-making had plummeted to 30%.

By 15, this had reduced by more than half, to 12%.

Once the participants reached adulthood, 2% were still capable of these genius traits.

The Education System and its Destruction of Imaginative Thought

The study found that the education system's prioritisation of evaluative, judgemental thought gradually suppressed creative, imaginative thinking.

The education system nulls down the senses, imagination and creativity.

Those most connected with their original, child-like inner selves are the most creative problem solvers and are capable of drawing up multiple solutions to problems.

And how remarkable that intelligence and genius are so closely related to the joyful, creative, imaginative side of us
